Stephen Corsi, CFP®

Stephen grew up in Louisville and graduated from Eastern High School in 2001. He went on to graduate with highest distinction (Summa Cum Laude) from Indiana University in 2005 with a degree in finance. During his college years, he spent three summers working with Lincoln Financial Advisors. After graduation he worked six years in Options Operations for Goldman Sachs in Chicago. At Goldman, Stephen assisted clients with financial positions, increased process efficiencies, and designed risk reduction methods.
While most of his work at Goldman was with investment firms, Stephen has long felt a call to help individuals and families work towards financial independence. His prior experience emphasized the value of customer service and teamwork in financial services. This led Stephen to join the independent group of advisors at MainStreet Wealth Management. At MainStreet Wealth Management, our client’s interests are the number one priority. He works together with his father, Vincent Corsi, as well as a long term reliable staff to provide clients with superior customer service. Stephen and Vincent share a combined over 44 years of financial planning experience.
Stephen holds his series 7, series 66, life insurance, and health insurance licenses. He has clients in multiple states including Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Idaho, Colorado, Oklahoma, California, and Texas. In 2014, he completed the education requirements to earn his Certified Financial Planner designation, CFP®. This requires he hold a fiduciary responsibility to his clients. In 2018, he earned his Behavioral Financial Advisor designation, BFAtm, which focuses on incorporating traditional finance and the psychology of investing.
Outside of work, Stephen serves on the finance team for Louisville’s Young Life committee. He also leads a small group Bible study for Young Life leaders. Stephen and his wife, Kari, an elementary teacher for Jefferson County Schools, live in Louisville, KY. They enjoy spending time with family, including their dog, Bennington “Benny.” Stephen and Kari are enthusiastic sports fans and dog/animal lovers.
