Jim Hunter

Jim and his wife, Lizanne, moved to Kentucky in 1980 following their college graduation.  He attended the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and holds the Master of Divinity (1982) and Doctor of Philosophy (1986) degrees.  He and Lizanne are the proud parents of Ellen and Sam.

Jim is active in church and community, serving as a member of the Walden School Board of Trustees for 27 years.  Jim also has taught courses at the University of Louisville for 33 years.

Jim serves as the Registered Principal and Senior Partner at MainStreet.  He is securities and insurance licensed in numerous states and holds the Series 7 and 24 licenses.  Jim’s 30 years of experience enhances his service to personal and business clients in the areas of investment and retirement planning.
